Colour Swatches
Let’s talk sample swatches!
We have an array of different coloured card stock. When you say your scheme is i.e. 'red', to us that could be any one of about 30 shades! Crimson, Scarlett, Ruby, Cherry Red, Christmas Red, Post Box Red, Blood Red, Mars...and the rest!
Card stock alone, we can get 513 different shades/finishes.
Ribbon; we have 81 plain coloured satin colours readily available and other tpes of ribbons are available from our stockists such as organza, grosgrain, polka dot, printed (hearts/floral/seasonal etc), wired, hessian, and much more and available to view in our stockists brochure here at the office.
Brooches; I've just been putting together a catalogue of all the brooches I can get, and at the moment it consists of 172 different brooches/buckles. But a little bird from the suppliers has informed me that a whole lot more are soon to be added to their stock!
Then there's the paper flowers... the butterflies... the confetti colours... the table scatter petals... the table scatter crystals... favour bags/boxes… oh so many things, and oh so many shades! All here in swatch books.
We always recommend getting your bridesmaids dresses sorted first and then giving us a swatch of the fabric for us to match to. It's much easier for us to match to the dress than it is to match the other way around. Don't just go by eye. It's easy to think you can carry a colour in your mind, but then in reality when you hold them together they can be surprisingly different! Also, what one business in the industry may call sage to describe a particular shade of green for example, may be a totally different shade of green to another business.
With so many colour options, it's highly unlikely that we won't be able to colour match, but in those rare instances, we can work around it to provide something that compliments it.
