Consultations

For wedding and event stationery it is strongly recommended that we meet face to face to discuss your requirements due to the level of detail. Consultations are FREE, and last up to around 1 hour.

  • During a consultation we'll take your details and the items/decor you're interested in. We also give you a quick idea of what to expect from us if going ahead. Then following the consultation we will work out prices based on your requirements. Prices aren’t given on the spot because there are so many various options for styles and decor that each new order is unique, a price list would be be miles long, and too overwhelming to make sense of.

  • Consultations are just an informal meeting, you are not obligated to order with us, and once you receive your quote we won't chase you afterwards for that hard sell. It's not our style to pressure.

  • You can bring anyone with you for a friendly chat over a cuppa. If you have babies with you, we have a travel cot that we can use if it allows you more freedom to look at products with ease. We have a toy stash, and colouring for the older ones to keep them occupied while we chat.

  • "Do I have to come in for a consultation?"
Whilst there are cases where we can solely arrange orders via messaging/emails (so we're not ruling that out if your circumstances can't allow for visiting), it's always better to have that personal encounter as I do believe there is less room for miscommunication and a better understanding can be achieved for both us and yourself. We love to have that face to face engagement so that you can get to see the products in person; seeing the quality of both materials and workmanship. It's also a lot easier for us to explain exactly what goes into each item, as it's not always obvious from a photo seen on our page. If you see a photo of an invite with a price tag of £6, the initial reaction is quite often “How much? For a bit of card and ribbon?”. But it’s more than that. What you can’t tell from a photo if the thickness and luxury feel of the card, you won’t realise how many pages there are, that the guest names are printed on the invite, rsvp card and address printed on an envelope. You won’t know that the map and directions are bespoke, we draw our own maps (to not breach any copyright by copy/pasting off google), and that every word is tailored to you. That there’s not a set template you have to choose that best fits your wedding/event. That some invitations the rsvp cards are perforated so that they can easily be torn off by your guests for posting. And so much more!

Although it's initially taking time out of the day to meet, I do feel it saves more time afterwards bouncing back and forth ideas on messages. It also helps to build up a trust between us.
